Hi all, I want to disable the user login page, my site is a public site and I dont need a login page. I have changed the settings in the site.ini and nothing happened
[SiteAccessSettings]
RequireUserLogin=false
RelatedSiteAccessList[]=intranet_site_admin ShowHiddenNodes=false any help please. Thanks Nayef

Hi, that should work. Have you tried cleaning all the caches?

Hi Jacobo, That is true, sorry I was trying to remove the login, and that setting above worked fine, but when i go to the home page of my site I get an access denied and a username and password fields came up,how can i make this page public, I want the whole site go public. Best Regards, Nayef

Hi Make sure that the anonymous user has content/read permissions to the public siteaccess. If you have created a new section for your content you must give the anonymous user access to this section as well. To do this just go to the tab user accounts in the admin view and click on the link 'roles and policies'. The rest shoiuld be clear. If that does not help, enable full debug output, empty the cache and try again. You should get a message about policies in the debug output which should tell you what permissions are needed. Claudia

Hello, I'm not sure, but if you remove tool "login" in Toolbar management ? Path -> Design >> Toolbar management >> Top Just try..

Hi Eder This just removes the link to the login. It does not change anything about who needs to log in to see the content of the page. So if your permission settings are such that everyone needs to log in to read content, the login page will appear, even if you remove the tool. Claudia
