Disabling user information email during registration

Hi Does anyone know how to disable the user information email that's sent upon a successful registration? From having a poke around my installation I guess this is generated by some built in workflow right?

No workflow is used : just look in kernel/user/register.php

Sebastian is right, this is not done by a workflow.
Before you look into the .php, you should check the .ini files for things converning the User Management. Maybe there is an option to disable the registration eMail. ("UserSettings" maybe)
