Display custom classes in upload object menu

I add a new (let's say) article, and in the edit view, there is an xml block. Here lives the button saying "Upload new Object" (icon is like office clipp). And in tab browse, I can pick some of my existing objects. Now, some objects of my custom classes I can see, but some I can't. I've looked in the template and everywhere but I can't find how to control this. I need help with this... tnx..
