Hello,
I would like to greet ( because it is my first post) and say that WebStyle Systems implemented very big community portal.
www.wizaz.pl has 2, 5 000 000 of users and 35 000 000 page views per month and it is settled on 10 – server clasters. It shows how many possibilities has eZ. Are there any other such as big portals implemented on eZ?

Interesting setup, care to go a bit more in depth on how it is setup? ( cluster type / hw / sw / sql server and so on )

Hmm, according to the forums, which I assume is a primary user DB, there is only 374 800 users. How many content objects has that installation? As fare as I see, user generated content such as comments is stored as forums posts which is not eZ Publish.

Number of content objects is almost always possible to see typing user/register (which is typically not forbiden to access, even if not used): http://www.wizaz.pl/user/register I got User ID: 8300 Question: Why you decided to use 4.2.0alpha1 on production ?

I will not discuss about total users ;) First I like how the site looks, but I've found some issues and have send you a PM...

Hi,
Thank you for replies. I asked our programmers who worked on that portal to take part in the discussion and we will try to answer to all questions.

Indeed on eZpublish side there is about 8000 objects so far. Users are stored in vBulletin and we made a bridge to connect eZpublish with vB.

Hi there, Could you answer André question? What kind of bridge have you used? I cen't read your site (because of the language) but I can not find any interaction between eZpublish and vb. Is there any content created by users (inside eZpublish)?

The brigde works the way that while creating an article or gallery there is vB topic automatically created and connected to this object. The user content is created mainly in external applications and we added handlers, template operators and modules to eZpublish to interact with this content. The eZpublish content has been added for about 2-3 months and the editors work on this content continuously so we expect that there will be much more eZpublish objects quite soon. We're still doing some small works on this website but the project is almost finished. Thank you for your feedback and reminding that some modules are still active :-) Regarding the cluster - there are 2 MySQL servers and 10 web servers.
