Hi!

I adjusted roles, so anonynous users can create comments, but actually they can't, they are asked to register.

How can I enable fully anonymous comments?

Hi,
this should be configurable with just roles.
Give the "Anonymous" Role the right to create comments (possibly limited to sections or parent object class type).
Don't forget to STORE the new Role settings.
Maybe you need to close your browser, but when we tried role editing, it took effect after STORING the changes (no need to logoff or restart the browser).
Check the "News" design package in ez 3.2 or 3.3, which allows anonymous users to create comments.

hmmm,

by default when anonynous users aren't allowed to create comments I get an error saying that module isn't found, but when I let them post comments, I got a login form.

I checked out news designs package, I have the same situation with it

Hi,
I'm sorry, i think, i was wrong about anonymous users beeing able to post comments on the 3.3 news package.
But I am, sure, that this was possible.
Please show us your role policies for "anonymous".

Marco,

here they are:

Module Function Limitations Edit Remove
user login *
content read Class( Folder , Info page , Info page , Link , Link , File , File , Comment , Comment , Article , Article , Image , Image , Forum , Forum , Forum message , Forum message , Product , Product , Product review , Product review )
content create Class( Comment )

Try to add
content edit class(comment).

Just having the right to create content is not sufficiant (in ez3.2) to really create something. The screen, that will let you enter data (ie for the form) has the url /content/edit/xxx and so, you will need edit rights.
This is annoying, but helped me in a similar situation.

Thanks, Marco!

Now it's working! All I need to do is just to amend templates!
