How can i import XML documents

Hi i'm searching for a script or method to import several XML documents and a guide how to do this.
I've tested the 2 contributions for import from the contribution site of ezPublish but they don't work and I don't know why.

Yes i`ve tried this extension but without success,
sometimes the extensions generates an article but without the content only the empty document.

Now it works but it thats not what i`ve searched for.
I'm looking for a extension or a method or a HOWTO for importing formated data in a xml text field.

I've also tried the script from the documentation on howto import attribute data but i'm not able to make it work.
