How to activate debug output generally?

Hi all,
when stating an error, ezpublish also says "debug output is present below". However, there is no debug output visible. How can I turn this on?

Ulrich,

In your site.ini override set the following (most likely settings/override/site.ini.append.php):

[DebugSettings]
DebugOutput=enabled
