Live CD does not detect mouse

I downloaded the latest version (ezpublish_livecd_1.0-3.5.1.iso) and burnt it onto a CD. It boots up ok, but doesn't detect my mouse. I have a Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard - It detects the keyboard ok though. What can I do so that Mandrake recognises my mouse (short of getting one with a tail)?
