'+meta' appended to user_name of email address rejected

Result being the format / email text is rejected and returned to user, ie: no +filter tags in my ezpublish email registration. The email address validation works good.

Perhaps you are interested in something like this:

if you think about spam filters.

Look at 2 and 3 examples.
