Moving several nodes at once

Hello, having:

Parent_node -> Child_node-> Grand_child_nodes (lots of nodes)

I would like to remove Child_node (the node in between), one way is to move all the "Grand-child_nodes" two nodes up, but doing so one by one could take me to much time.

Is there any extension that lets me move several nodes at once or any solution that will erase the node in between asuming the last nodes become child of the first node.

Thanks

We posted this contribution a while ago that does this (and provides the ability to add locations for multiple nodes too).

If this does not work with your version, let me know. We have modified it for 3.7.x and 4.0 as well.
