Patch package type

When adding a policy package/read, I see a package type "Patch" in the list. It is there because of package.ini.[PackageSettings].TypeList[patch]=Patch setting.

Is this "patch" package type used by eZ publish network services? I can't find any patch package handlers in the GPL-ed version.

No, the "patch" package type is not used by the eZ publish network service.

The setting was added to trunk in 2003 (rev. 4192) but appear to be a small glitch. We don't have any patch package handler.
