I am curious about something.

Whenever I open a link to a pdf file at any other destination on the web, using either Safari or Firefox, the pdf opens in a new window (or a tab). However, whenever I open a link to a pdf file stored in eZpublish, it generates a download to my local computer.

Why does eZpublish behave this way? And can it be changed to display the file instead?

How PDFs are handled by the browser is decided by the HTTP headers. Is it uploaded PDFs or generated PDFs you'd like to handle differently ?

Yes, I would like pdfs to be generated in a browser window rather than being downloaded. I don't have any knowledge of eZpublish's template system. Can you give me some direction on what I would need to change to accomplish this?
