Still no bulkmail?

It does not say, bulkmail would be in 3.1 I think, it's not done yet, but you could use the notification system for a simple similar setup: Have your users "subscribe" (set a notification) to one or more folders. When you publish content there, the users will get a notication email. This need a cronjob and tells the user "hey, there was some article called blabla published by Claus today". It does not contain the intro or body, just the object name. So, the user will have to follow the link. Of course, this is NO newsletter, but maybe will help you for now.
