Hi Sepp,
With eZ publish there are always two active branches at any point in time. Now the active branches are 3.5 and 3.6.
We will have subreleases in both of these branches since upgrading a large site between 3.x releases can be a lot of work while upgrading subreleases is usually a small thing. As you may have noticed there was a 3.4 release as well, which marked the end of the 3.4 series.
