Anyone know a good UK host for eZ Publish

Ola Andersson	Thursday 29 November 2007 12:30:36 pm Hi, I am trying to find a UK host for eZ Publish installation. Ideally a shared solution, bacause they are more affordable. Does anyone have any good experiences? I have some sites on 1&1 and although, technically, it should work on their servers I can't make it work. Rackspace is mentioned as a hosting partner on this site but they told me they do not support eZ Publish. The installation might work but if you have problems they are not comitted to resolve them. Anyway, they only do dedicated servers starting a £200+.month. yeah right... So, I need a good affordable host, pref UK based. Any suggestions gratefully received.....! :)

OVH is the leading french webhosts and their are really cheap, plus you can pay on a monthly basis, so you can get a server for a month and then resign if it is not what you are looking for, or if you would like to just test the service. you can then upgrade or downgrade from one server to another on a monthly basis, as your processing power needs increas. You can contact the support who answer quickly, and will answer in english if you have any questions. http://www.ovh.com/fr/produits/offres_dedies.xml If you would like to just install a simple eZpublish version for testing purpos the first ones at 20euro per month will do, but I would recommend a higher one if you expect a high frequency on your website. You have full root access to your servers, so you can install and do whatever you like on it really, and can therefore share it with others if you like.

Martin Sanders	Friday 30 November 2007 10:20:39 am Hi Ola, We use UKdedicated, they've been a great help over the last 4 years, offering great advise whenever we've encountered a server difficulty. They do shared and dedicated hosting and seem to take care of their clients. We once had a database issue with eZ Publish, the support spent hours working to resolve the issue and even advised on a specialist consultant when needed urgently for a specific eZ Publish db issue. They seem to have a small team of support staff, including company directors who are always willing to answer our call whenever we face a new problem. UKdedicated may not be the cheapest, but if you need real stable servers with support on hand when needed you can't do much better. p.s. i don't work for UKdedicated, I'm just a very happy customer :)

They offer you an affordable hosting package - including all the requirements you need for eZ Publish System installation. A really good shared hosting solution with staight Email - Support and fast Live Chat- Service.
