Apache crash straight after installation first page

Roy Jonse	Tuesday 08 August 2006 9:43:46 am Hi all, I'm trying to install ezPublish on windows for the second time. The first time I tried to use the installer but it seems to have some problems so the second time I tried to install ezPublish by installing Apache,php,mysql separatly. everything seems to work fine - I tried to check my Apache and PHP installation with some simple php file and it works. Now I'm trying to start the web installation wizard by writing: http://localhost/ezPublish/ and I get to the first page of the wizard but now when I click the "next" button I get the following error: Apache.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close...... What might be the problem? Thank you for any help Roy

Hi all,
I'm trying to install ezPublish on windows for the second time.

What might be the problem?

Hi,

Use latest version of PHP, currently 4.4.3. There is a bug in PHP 4.4.2, which may crash Apache on Windows platform. This bug was solved in PHP 4.4.3.
