cache folder size ?

Ez publish with 8000 nodes after three weeks reached almoust 650 MB size. Is it possible some how to make it smaller. Or just force delete cache from that folder on object publish or edit actions, like now it only expires cache and cache stays there and takes disk space. Thanx :)
