I have installed the eZ 3.3 in Windows XP. I have tried created a new user through intranet user site http://testserver/index.php/intranet.

After the new user registered with the system, the user has received a confirmation URL like http://testserver/index.php/intranet/user/activate/5e80b261386b9e8274c079f641439c22.

When the user clicks this link to activate the link, he is prompted to login. As the user account in not activated at this point, the system gives the message “Could not login". Now, if I give the username: admin and password: publish, and then the account was activated.

Since the external users won't be having the admin password,
I require configuration settings which takes the external users to activate their account without any username and password.

Thanks,

Hi

The user should not be able to register him self on the intranet. This has been fixed in rev.4757 (3.3-2) along with the access right for anonymous users to activate an account.
