English website, Russion or Chinees story

Michel Houtermans	Wednesday 01 September 2004 5:05:33 am I have a question about the following. I want to make a website in the English luanguage but I want to allow articles in Russion or Chineees. Is there any problem to mix a characterset like that? Is there anything particular that I should pay attention too?

I would suggest MySQL >4.1.3 or PostgreSQL. But still works to setup translations of individual articles, it's just not that very well explained anywhere. Will add in to another thread here how to list your translations which I troubled with for a while. Plus it is not made to have the site in English and have articles that do not exist in English in other languages. Sure can find a workaround for that but it's a thing to have in mind - no non-english if there isn't an english version. Kjell Knudsen http://www.icbl.org
