Error installing EZ

a p	Monday 06 April 2009 3:11:17 am Hello, I am a new user of EZ publishing. After a lot of searchingEZ is exactly what I need to develop my new community website. I have attempted to install EZ and get the following error message after the "database initialisation" step <i>Fatal error: Class 'ezcBaseOptions' not found in /home/skilon/public_html/kernel/private/options/ezpextensionoptions.php on line 54 Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.</i> A search has shown that I need to install EZ components which I have downloaded and extracted onto my webspace. My problem is that I am not sure how to set up the ez components so I can successfully install ez publish. I have read the instructions but they do not make it clear (or maybe I just don't understand!) how to set it up and where to put stuff. I am installing on a shared host so I don't have direct access to PHP. I have extracted ezcomponents to its own folder www ezpublish folders ezcomponents I know I need to include some code to call the components but I dont know where to put it. Could some one please give a step by step including specifics of where to put this so I can install it. Thanks in advance Andy

I have try to upgrading ezpublish from 4.0.3 to 4.1 but I have a problem with scripts upgrade and ezcomponents, after installed ezcomponents such as documented I can run the upgrade scripts but if I try to install a fresh ezpublish with wizard and I have your same php error; this is strange because I think I have just installed ezcomponents. A search has shown that I need to install EZ components which I have downloaded and extracted onto my webspace.

My problem is that I am not sure how to set up the ez components so I can successfully install ez publish.
