eZ 4.0.0alpha2: setup-wizard jumps back to first page

Patrick Kaiser	Tuesday 16 October 2007 11:18:14 am Hi, I just tried to install 4.0.0alpha2, but i cannot complete the setup wizard. Until the Step where you can choose the "site-package" (plain_site and website interface) everything works just fine, but no matter what I select in this step (tried all: plain_site, website interface, nothing) the wizard just jumps back to the first page. Anyone else having this problem? Should I file a bug report? My configuration: debian etch apache 2 mysql 5.0.45 php 5.2.4, eaccelerator 0.9.5.2 eZ publish 4.0.0alpha2 Best regards, Patrick
pb j	Tuesday 16 October 2007 8:52:03 pm Yes, Absolutely so, Please. I have been having the same problem. Every time I FTP Ezpublish 10.0.zip to my Webhost Shared Hosting Account I end up with the same problem. Upload>path to ez index.php>go through the entire Wizard process>complete>and then path to index.php>brings me back to first page of Wizard again... Any information that you may be able to provide to help me with this problem would be very highly appreciated. I would like to use ezPublish to develop and design an ecommerce website on a Shared Hosting (Web Hosting Plan) but, I have been running into one problem right after another and I have to say, "How Frustrating". Thank you

It works here on an almost identical setup, except that I use APC as an accelerator Maybe disable eaccelerator and try again? FYI, I used port based mapping for user/admin siteaccesses @pb: can you tell us more about the hosting environment, do you meet ll requirements listed in the alpha1 announcement? Patrick Kaiser	Wednesday 17 October 2007 6:15:45 am Hi all, I finally figured it out: It was the Suhosin extension (http://www.hardened-php.net/suhosin/) that prevented the setup wizard to download the site-package. The wizard might work when you configure the extension properly, but for now I just disabled it and everything seems to work as expected. In this setup I choosed eaccelerator over APC because I had varoius problems with APC 3.0.14 together with PHP 5.2.4 (blank pages, strange behaviour). Thanks everybody, Patrick Best regards, Patrick
