eZ can't find location of images?

I recently upgraded to php 5.3.1 from 5.2.9 and now the images on the website do not display. They show the image name and a red 'x'. This leads me to believe that maybe ez is looking in the wrong place for the images. Since I changed no ez conf files during the PHP upgrade process, is this possible? How does eZ know that object 5559 is x file in y location? When I look at the images in the Media section of the admin console, it still shows the image name with a red 'x'. I search the server and the images are in \storage\images\media\images subfolder. Thanks.

if you have moved install, it sometimes help to clear all cache, but that is only when old path is cached in templates.
Second option is that you did something wrong when you re configured it, and you'll need to debug it and backtrack what you did (PHP 5.3.1 should not cause this afaik).

Start by checking src attribute of images and compare it to where images actually are, that might give you a clue.
