So I'm hoping its not just that you got some rocking servers :) Anyone with any experiences regarding performance running V3 yet? eZ publish 3 is much more scalable than the 2.x series, however we've just started with optimizations and you should see tremendous speed improvements from the 2.x series (as well as beta releases).
