Hi !!

I have been trying to install ezp 4.1 for a couple of days and i don't succed to get through the setup wizard.

The following steps are OK :
System check : OK
Outgoing mail : OK
Database initiaization : OK
language support : OK
Site package selection : OK

But then i get a blank page with the following error : "An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact the webmaster."

I checked the ezp_dir/var/log/error.lod and it says :
Unexpected error, the message was : The checksum of the file 'compress.zlib://var/cache/packages/ezflow_site.ezpkg' is invalid

I have checked my php configuration and it seems aligned to the ezp recommandations.
[php version] 5.2.9
[Version Apache] 1.3.41 (Unix)
[Mysql version] 5.0.67-community

Any idea of the root cause, I am out of inspiration ?

Thanks in advance,

I have seen this error on my developer machine (Mac OS X). Recompiling PHP helped in my case. However I'm not 100% sure what caused that error which comes from the ezcArchive component. You might try to update to latest eZ Components.

Hi,

I had already installed the lastest eZComponent version I tried to upgrade it in case it wasn't the latest the version but it is OK on that side.
Still the same error is occuring.

Could it be related to folders permissions?
In which chmod configuration do the folders have to be set up? 777/755?

Thank for your inputs,
