Trying to setup a test installation of eZ publish 3.5 on the following system:

Solaris 8
PHP 4.3.10
MySQL 3.23.56

Produces the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ezsys in ez-publish-test/lib/ezutils/classes/ezsys.php on line 66
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

(There is no debug output) Will eZ publish run on Solaris?

Hi Travis!

I get the same error on a Free BSD machine.
The only practical solution I found was to purchase an additional PC on which I have downloaded and installed eZ using the installer for windows .

It seems like eZ simply won't run on some specific system configurations - sadly.
