How to I create a Database for the first time, I am lost and don't understand

Jonathan Graham	Friday 30 July 2004 12:02:25 am Hi, Can anyone explain in full how to setup a database from scrath using the latest server programs from eZpublish. I got to the bit on the http://localhost/index.php install page where it wants you to enter a MySQL database information. I don't know how to make one so, I can't continue. Can someone please help me. Thanks

If not and if you'd like to install for testing only, you can use the bundled installation, which installs Apache, mySQL, PHP and eZ publish. http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/installation/bundled_installation If your server has the neccessary prerequisites, you only have to setup up a database and can then select this database within eZ publish's setup process. I guess that's where you're in at the moment. Hi Jonathan,

Where are you installing ez publsh...i.e. on your desktop (windows or linux?) or on some webspace?
