Hi,

There is ImageMagick (Version: ImageMagick 6.0.7 04/19/08) already installed on my server. It is located in /usr/bin. But when i try to install ezp, there is this message : "Missing ImageMagick program", I tried to enter the path manually but it alway says that IM is missing, again and again. Any idea? thank you for reading!

Hi,

are you sure that the way you entered it is really taken into account ? What I mean is that maybe the path is overridden somewhere else.
You should go and look in the administration panel under the 'ini parameters' section, choose image.ini and your siteaccess, and then check which setting is taken into account.
I guess you should have :

ExecutablePath override "/usr/bin/"
Executable override "convert"

You should also check the other settings of this section.

Hope it'll help you a little.

Hi

I faced this same problem while installing eZ Publish 4 on my local test bed. It turned out to be just a small oversight on my part, you see you just have to enter the directory which contains convert.exe into the path box, "and not mention the executable file itself"

What I mean is, instead of entering something like :
C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.4.3-Q16\convert.exe

just type in:
C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.4.3-Q16
which in your case should be /usr/bin

That solved the problem for me.
