I've tried to find the files in the GUI where by I'm able to edit the files for introductions to the contact us, forum, media files, weblog and so on. I've tried to locate the actual files. I'm looking in the Linux OPT folder, howerver I've not yet seen the correct text files that are being called..
My objective now is to see where the file are called from and then I can have a reference point. I've been clicking the GUI for settings, as well as the setup up where I've clicked on classes, template, menu management, etc., but yet ot get me to a point where I know where the actual files that will respond to the front end for the editing from the various configuration settings.
For example, where is the text call for the text file listed on wth welcome: Welcome to eZ publish Welcome to your new eZ publish installation. You can change the look and feel of the site from within the administration interface: click on the "Setup" tab and use the different sections for customization (menu management, toolbar management, etc.). Templates eZ publish uses templates as the fundamental unit of site design. A template is basically an extended HTML file that describes how some particular type of content should be visualized. The templates for this site are located within the following directories:
"design/base/templates"
"design/base/override/templates"
Please do not change/edit the contents of the default design directories, which are:
"design/standard"
"design/admin" What i believe would help if I can get the direct path to the linux files it may help me wth the GUI. I could be wrong. As you can most likely tell, I'm learning
