problem with arabic charset of DB

I am in the process in moving the site to another Server , the current "Charset Collation" on the old website is : latin_swedish_ci and most of the tables charsets are utf8_general_ci What do you think ? how to move the DB what charsets shuld i use ?:( please help thanks

For Arabic I think you need to use utf8.

I am not sure what do you mean by most of the tables are in utf8. Up to my knowledge Arabic fonts won't work in latin_swedish_ci.

Finally, you can do some experiment, ie use phpmyadmin and export your old tables to an .sql file. If you have a local server try importing your exported file to it and check to see if all your chars are ok.
