Running from a non-root web directory.

However it seems that it must run from the wwwroot directory. This is not an option for me as I can't run virtual hosts and have several other applications running on the same web server. Can anyone qualify for me if I can run eZ publish COMPLETELY under a sub directory ? I know this subject has been raised before, but the circumstances have been a little different, and answers/posts inconclusive. Of course if you could tell me how to do this it would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

ossi petz	Saturday 12 July 2003 12:27:27 pm well i have the same problem and that answer does not satisfy me. the installation worked somehow good. but the '/doc/install' file is more confusing than helpfull. the html documentation gives a better overview as it is splitten into different documents. i did not find the 'non virtual host' setup section. some hints are hidden in the site access section but no more than 2 sentences? so in short of my problem which is the annoying one: after installing in a subdirectory (using sambar 5, mysql 3, php 4.3) the demo site appears! but clicking on any link on: http://localhost/cms/ezpublish-3.1-1/index.php (which shows the demosite) brings me to: -- Warning: Unknown(c:\wwwroot\demo\content\view\full\33): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 Warning: (null)(): Failed opening 'c:\wwwroot\demo\content\view\full\33' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\serverd\php-4\includes') in Unknown on line 0 -- which is thw wrong folder. it should point to: c:\wwwroot\cms\ezpublish-3.1-1\ ??somewhere?? so i got stuck on these warnings. where is the admin-panel? http://localhost/cms/ezpublish-3.1-1/index.php/admin ?? this does the 'same' warnings. how do i get the demo-site working in that subfolder? thanks :) op
