Searching binary files in eZ 4.2

Andy Caiger	Monday 17 May 2010 9:15:08 pm I'm trying to enable searching of binary files (specifically PDFs) on eZ 4.2 without using eZ Find, just the standard eZ Publish search. Is there any up-to-date documentation on this? How can I debug? In settings/override/binaryfile.ini.append.php I have: [BinaryFileHandlerSettings] LogFile=var/log/index.log but I don't see index.log created in var/log. So I can't even see what's going wrong?
