template editor & file permissions

The problem is that whenever I use tempalate editor in ezp admin, the permissions of the override.ini.append and the created/modified templates are set to 611. I would need at least 661 to be able to edit these files manualy. Is there a setting to change the default permissions or is there some other solution?
