Unable to access wizard

Salami Donald	Tuesday 19 February 2008 7:34:38 am i have been unbale to access the set up wizard,i have done all the prior instruction for a normal installation, unpacked into a home directory but i just cant access the wizard. it keeps giving me an error 404, - "Error 404: NOT FOUND! Your browser cannot find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in." and when i try to access the index page of my domain it shows an error 403, - "Error 403 - Forbidden You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges". i am using a linux environment, a hosting from www.1and1.com

Potentially it can be a lot of reasons why you experience these problems, but here is some tips about what you can check: * Check that everybody have read access to your index.php file * Check that you don't have any .htaccess files that override the hosting providers default configuration * Make sure that your web server automatically view index.php as directory index file (to avoid 404 error) Good luck with your installation. Dear Salami,

If the server respond with a 404 or 403 error it's probably something wrong with the server configuration and not with eZ Publish.

Potentially it can be a lot of reasons why you experience these problems, but here is some tips about what you can check:

* Check that everybody have read access to your index.php file
