Hello!

What permission do I use to enable my users to upload images (in TinyMCE wysiwyg editor) ?

Hi Ivan,

I would say that you should add content/create of image in Media/Images or in media section. It's also perhaps necessary to add ezoe/relations as well.

Cheers

Hello Damien!

Thank you for your answer, unfortunatley it does not work for me.

I have added the permision content create image, and ezoe full access, Also create image on any section...

I can select the image I want to upload, and there is a Location option, if I select Automatic, i get premission denied, but if i select location "this" than I can upload. Problem is on some pages I cannot select "this"... Any idea why this happens?

Hum that's weird. I guess that to be able to select "this", you have to meet the following requirements :

  • the class of the element you're editing has to be marked as a container
  • you also need to have the right to create an image object under the object you're editing
  • and perhaps this works only when you edit an existing objet, not when you're creating one.

On the initial issue, what is the exact message you get when using "Automatic" as location ? By the way, "Automatic" is in fact a value that is computed from the type of file you're uploading and from the rules set in content.ini. So you should also check that the paths set in content.ini/[RelationAssignementSettings]/ClassSpecificAssignement are valid.

Cheers

Ivan: Not sure, but you may also need the content/edit permission for images in Media section.

Also, pasting here the complete user role that you've created would help.
