Any ideas on how to troubleshoot changes to the editor.css in the ezdhtml design folder not taking effect? Just to make sure my changes would be noticeable, I changed the font size of H1 to 72px, but the editor still shows it the same as it did with the default css. Has anyone gotten this to work (changing the editor css)? Also, how do you assign a class to an object in the OE? I see the ability to select a class, but the only choice is [None]. Where do I set the available classes?

Mark I have exactly the same issue. It's OE 3.2 and I try to make changes to extension/ezdhtml/design/standard/stylesheets/ezdhtml/editor.css. Absoloutely no effect whatsoever. I have also tried making changes to other stylesheets in case they were being picked up in preference to editor.css such as admin.css & core.css but the Editor style remains the same. It's very frustrating because its not exactly the best WYSIWYG environment whereby the override stylesheet employed to render the final site bears no resemblance at all to what you see in the Editor! Anyone got an idea on this one?? Thanks, Don.

Hi, After editing extension/ezdhtml/design/standard/stylesheets/ezdhtml/editor.css, go to IE/Tools/Internet Options/General/Delete Files/, check "Delete all offline content" and click ok.

Changing editor.css should work in both browsers.
If not, check that you can get this file from your server. Try to enter: http://your_site_url/extension/ezdhtml/design/standard/stylesheets/ezdhtml/editor.css If your setup is ok, you will see the css text. If no check rewrite rules, there should be a rule like the following: Rewriterule ^/extension/[^/]+/design/[^/]+/(stylesheets|images|javascripts?)/.* - [L] PS. Please write here, does it help you or not!

I found the reason for this. My site's url looks like this: www.myserver.com/~accountname/index.php/site_admin The OE-javascript doesnt include ~accountname in the path to editor.css. When configuring a vhost the editor.css file works. Then the url should look like this: www.myserver.com/index.php/site_admin

If this is the problem, I will make a patch and you will check it, ok?

That would be great! (I also made an entry for this in the OE bug list.)

I've done some modifications and I think this will work for non-vhost environments. Here is the patch:
http://ez.no/download/add_ons/online_editor/ez_publish_3_online_editor/css_patch (I think you have proper access rights on ez.no to get it ?) Please test it on both browsers (IE, Mozilla) and report us, does it work or not.
