in pagelayout.tpl,I can't get the current node,i use {$node.name},but nothing cab be showed,
can someone help me?thanks a lot, the ezpublish version is 3.3.4

after i deleted the cache files,the node_id can be showed,but if i refresh without deleting cache,it will not showed.
anyone know what the problem is? thank:)

Check if your settings in your site.ini is like this:
[TemplateSettings]
TemplateCache=disabled
[ContentSettings]
ViewCaching=disabled

<i>$node.node_id</i> will only work when caching is disabled. Use <i>$DesignKeys:used.node</i> to find the node id of a cached page. Template variables set by ezPublish: http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/customization/custom_design/template_variables_set_by_ezpublish Alex
