ezp3.5 cannot send out email on my server

hi,all
i have installed ez3.5 on a redhat server,but i cannot receive mail after user register or send a contact info using ezp embeded modole 'contactus' .
my isp told me that his redhat server support send mail from php scripts.what happend to me ?

Have a look into yoursite/settings/override/site.ini.append.php and select sendmail or SMTP as a mail sending protocol
