Hi, I'm newly with ezPublish. I want do a web with weblog & forum functionalities. So, I started to this with the templates of blog demo. But in the homepage, I want show in the central block the latest blogs and posts in the forum. How can I do this? How can I combine this items in the central block? Wich template have I to modifiy or create? Thanks.

Have you read the tutorial at http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/building_an_ez_publish_site ?The different sections should help you learn how the templates work. The news tutorial discusses how to display overviews of the latest articles which is much like what you want to do with blog entries and forum posts on your front page. Alex

Hi, Yes, I readed the tutorial. But I don't know wich template modify or create to show, at the central block of the homepage (it is in {$module_result.content} area), this items. Can you specify more? Excuse me, I'm newly with eZ, but I sorpressed with their power and functionality. Thanks.

Hi, Im still studing the EZ Framework, but i know thats Gallery Template have a dinamic Homepage and use more than one template to generate the first page. Take a look. I need to build a dinamic homepage to. Sorry for my bad english... >:)! By Merclown

By default, index page is "content/view/full/2", so you can override the full view for node 2 and fetch blogs and forum messages.
