How to add permissions for trash?

At the moment the trash can only be accessed if the users role has full (content, , ) privileges in content. Even (content, read, ) and (content, versionread, ) doesn't grant me to access the trash. :/ Have I something missed in the docs? Thanks in advance for any help...

I had the same problem.
I have resolved (I hope...) granting the content/restore provilege too.
