Limit or delay image alias creation

Christian Johansen	Tuesday 13 June 2006 10:51:02 pm I have a site which defines 15 image aliases. Now I'm in the middle of implementing a new design which will require about 10 new image aliases. It seems unnessesary for eZP to create all the aliases for all the images since some images are only used with some aliases. So my question is, is it possible to either a) Delay image alias creation until an alias is actually needed for an image or b) Define some kind of relation between images in section B should only be aliased to alias C, F and G?

B) You can use object relations e.g when one object image you will use in the several places of your site. Look on object relation datatype or use relations in object edit mode. Hi Christian,

A) eZ publish creates image aliases on demand. When user first time will display image, image alias will be created.
