Override problems with eZ publish 3.1.0-1

I have just upgraded from eZ publish 3.0.1 to eZ publish 3.1.0-1:

I am developing an eCommerce-website, using the templates from "My Book Corner" in the "design/demo/override" folder, as basic.

I replaced the "pagelayout_book_corner.tpl" with my own "pagelayout_nettbutikk.tpl", and then I edited the override.ini.append-file in "settings\siteaccess\demo"

from:

[pagelayout_book_corner]
Source=pagelayout.tpl
MatchFile=pagelayout_book_corner.tpl
Subdir=templates
Match[section]=5

to:

[pagelayout_nettbutikk]
Source=pagelayout.tpl
MatchFile=pagelayout_nettbutikk.tpl
Subdir=templates
Match[section]=5

It didn't work. But what I really want to do is create my pagelayout_nettbutikk.tpl in the folder "design/[my design]/override", but eZ publish 3 user-interface still uses the demo-templates.

What am I missing?

Marius, have you done a clearcache? The new override system caches the override templates for speed, so you need to clear the cache for it to take effect.

bin/shell/clearcache.sh --clear-all

Thank you, Bård!

That was what I had missed. Can I delete the design/demo folder, if I have created my own pagelayout.tpl templates under the folder design/(mydesign)? Or is it a "backup" ?

The design/demo templates are just examples. You do not need them at all. The design/standard is important not to change ( for upgrade issues ). The design/admin is the default admin templates. I would not recommend changing these (admin), but you can use them as a fallback design if you want to do modifications to the admin templates.

Thanks!

It's working now.

But there's some new issues now. If I delete the design/demo folder, and use the design/(my design)/override instead, the links forwarded to the different sections (for ex.: "<a href={"content/view/full/159/"|ezurl} />") becomes invalid, don't they?

Maybe it's a stupid question, but I rather ask first!

Normally they are also agnostic to the siteaccess [my design]. So no problems there.
