Show on frontpage : Question

HI
Not all the users are allowed to send article to front page. So how to prevent editors and article creators from having this option "check box"?

Also how would i make my choice to show on front page wht i need to show only , from a specified folder, not to leave it for chance?
I made up my choice to choose recent articles in folder X, but if i go to Y and asked to show this article on front page it also whos itself though this article is not in folder X .
Any clue ?

You need to hard code a little for that...

check upon thier group
{$current_user|attribute(show)}
