sorting arrays

Is there a way to sort arrays in eZ. I don't want to use the sort functionallity of the fetch functin but sort an array in the template. Is there an operator for that?

The quick answer to that is no.
Not sure if there is a way around it, the big dogs will have to answer that.

Are there some plans to implement an operator like this? There's an example on the forum how to make your own operator for this, but I would like to know if there will be a generic eZ sollution.
