Mail enhancement - html and plain text in one mail

Hi,

at the moment it's only possible to send html or text mails. It would be great if you can do both in mail. The reason: Many freemail web-sites shows at first the text-version. If there isn't a text-version in the mail, the user is forced to click to an extra link which opens the html-mail. In many cases many html-tags are stripped by the freemailers which destroys the design of the mail. Furthermore there are also users who only wants a "text-only" version (not only programmers ;-)

It would be easy to implement this feature. At the moment I use a dirty "hack". (I've created a new "mailtransport" class which sends the $mail-object to the mail-classes from http://www.phpguru.org/mime.mail.html ).

Kind regards,
Emil.

Best wishes,
Georg.
