3.1 to 3.2 ezcontentobject_attribute table

I update from 3.1 to 3.2
mysql update script add two fields (sort_key_int and sort_key_string) in ezcontentobject_attribute table.
I see that ezpublish use this fields to sort in fetch function but in my database sort_key_string is blank in every record.
Why?
In fact in my installation sort function not work correctly.
