Hi,
I am using eZ publish 3.8 for a project. And I need to add users from another database. So I need to modify the eZ publish database manually.
I have added a user in the table 'ezuser', and in 'ezuser_setting'.

You need to generate content-object containing the information about the users.
I suggest looking at the contributions:

I looked at the UserImport plugin and it seems to use ezpublish kernel classes. What I need is to add users from an external application. Have you any idea ?

The users require content objects in eZ publish, so i think the best way to do it is with a PHP-script that gets the information from external sources, and generates content in eZ publish (by using kernel-classes).
