Forums / Developer / Ajax in eZ Publish: repeatable class eZAjaxContent

We could find eZAjaxContent class in several extensions: - eZ Multiupload - eZ Core- and even new Online Editor (with class eZOEAjaxContent - a different name but the same content)
What is the reason to copy this class in different places? It worth to include this class to lib folder and use it as a generic class, isn't it?
Is there some roadmap concerning ajax concept in eZ Publish? I see that many developers use ajax for their extensions but the code is not reusable. Why?

You missed a couple: ezyui: http://svn.projects.ez.no/ezyui/trunk/ezyui/classes/ezyuiajaxcontent.phpezflow: http://svn.ez.no/svn/extensions/ezflow/trunk/packages/ezflow_extension/ezextension/ezflow/classes/ezflowajaxcontent.php
As for the roadmap, there are plans to include ezyui in either 4.2 or 4.3.
The reason why I'm uncertain is: extensions are supposed to have releases in between the eZ Publish releases according to the new heartbeat release model, and yui 3.0 won't be final before q4 or q1 2010. So it might not show up in 4.2, or it will show up in 4.2 as early preview version (as in not a stable api yet) using yui 2.7.0 for the time being.
