Hello, I am developing a set of pages that display the details of events and conferences. There is a predefined set of details like below that a content manager can enter the details into. There are about 40 of them.
- Overview
- Format
- Agenda Day 1
- Agenda Day 2
- Agenda Day 3
- Speaker List
- Who Should Attend
- Solution Providers
- Venue & Acommodation
- Visa Information
- Pricing
- Media Partners
etc.... What I would like to achieve here is that each event displays a differentiated navigation menu selected from above. Each details have their own page on the website. The question here is that each events has a slightly different set of details that are selectetd from the list above. For example, some event has only "Agenda Day 1" while others might have "Day 2" or have all three dates. Some have "Solution Providers" while others have "Media Partners". I am wondering how to go about achieving this. Should I put all the predefined detail fields into a single content class and set the template to display the links a specific page only if there is an entry in that field? Or should I create separate contents classes for each of the details, make new sub-folder for each events and let content managers to select appropriate content classes for each? Does anyone out there guide me to an efficient way to deal with this?
