It would be very nice to have a small distro containing just nessesary packages to run the portal. Could also use eZ to create a WEB-admin interface for the server. Any thoughts any one? Does any one know a GOOD tutorial for creating a distro? Frode
Denis Brækhus	Monday 25 August 2003 11:43:59 am Well, I have not compiled any distros myself but assuming you mean a LAMPeZ distro (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, eZ) you could check out the http://www.linuxfromscratch.org site. It should at least have a lot of documentation on the subject. I agree it would be a nice thing to bundle a complete distro, maybe something like Knoppix which boots all you need, mostly without installing anything ? Knoppix can be found at http://www.knoppix.org .
