Problem: operator sum is giving me an array

The arithemtic operator:

{sum (3,1)}

is giving me as output "Array"

Is this a bug or am I using it the wrong way?

OK. So I've downloaded the latest 3.2-1 stable and the bug is still present there. How do we get access to a release with the bug fixed?
